Shikotsuko Daiichi Hotel Suizantei Chitose , Chitose (Hokkaido)

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The rooms were unexpectedly spacious and having a private hot spring bath was a real treat. However, the shower head needed some cleaning as it was spraying water sideways. The private onsen, accommodating four people, was a delightful bonus. The service was top-notch, with the staff even driving me to the hospital and assisting as a translator. The location couldn't have been better, with a beautiful view near the park and the lake offering a lovely experience. The traditional Japanese dining was a highlight, with a variety of delicious dishes served in a beautiful tatami setting. The facilities were great overall, although a few minor improvements could enhance the experience.

My room was absolutely fantastic! I was welcomed with a lovely tea setup that had everything I could possibly need during my stay, from toiletries to snacks and even sake. The private balcony with an onsen bath outside was a real treat, and the room was incredibly spacious with separate sleeping areas and two double beds. The ultimate highlight was having our own hot spring right in the room.
